Description
The “Mattawa” Every Musky angler needs a few rubber swim baits. Our Mattawa comes in either a 9” (23 cm) or 12” (31 cm) version. The 9 inch streches out to approx. 14” (35 cm) and weighs 5.6 oz (157 grams). It is fitted with a pair of 4/0 trebles. The 12” weighs in at 9.0 oz (257 grams) and stretches out to 17” (43 cm). It comes with a pair of 5/0 trebles.
This is what makes our Mattawa rubber swim baits so durable. The inner works on our bait have a coiled through wire which really grabs hold of the liquid rubber bait material as it is poured into the mold. You can also see how well our hooks will stay on the bait and not pull out. Some manufacturers only run a plain wire through th body which can pull out of the bait after a single fight with a large musky or pike.
